Which AI assistants and search results does it check?
Six places: Google Maps, Google search, Google's AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. If one of them doesn't return an answer when we ask, we mark it with a question mark and leave it out of your score.
How does it decide whether I'm recommended?
We search the way a customer would, for example "roofer Boca Raton FL", from your city, plus up to two more searches you add. For Google Maps and Google search we look for your business name or website in the results for each search. For the AI assistants we read the answer and its sources and check whether your business name or website appears.
Why might my results differ from what I see?
Google results change by location and search history, and AI answers vary each time you ask. We run each search once, from Florida, signed out with no search history, which is close to what a new customer sees. Treat the report as a snapshot, not a permanent ranking.
How do I get ChatGPT and Google to recommend my business?
AI assistants lean on the same sources customers trust: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, directory listings like Yelp and BBB, local news and articles, and a website that clearly says what you do and where.
